| What is the MailKeeper ™?
The MailKeeper is a masonry-ready mailbox system with a large-capacity, locking security
compartment. It is designed for busy homeowners who travel, receive valuable items through
the mail, or are concerned with identity theft. The MailKeeper’s outer shell is manufactured
from heavy gauge steel, which is electrogalvanized to prevent rusting. The exterior face plates
are made of durable cast-aluminum.
Is the MailKeeper USPS approved?
Generally, a mailbox receptical must be installed with the bottom of the box at a vertical
height of between 41-45 inches from the road surface. (Source: www.usps.com FAQs) It is
always advisable to ask your local mail carrier for input on the desirable distance from the
road. This will vary from carrier to carrier.
How much does the MailKeeper weigh? What are the dimensions?
The dimensions for all units are 48” H x 9-5/8” W x 21” deep.

What options are available for the MailKeeper?
The MailKeeper comes in five different models, with options such as a newpaper compartment
and home-side access. The four facing designs can be highlighted in antique gold, silver,
or matte black. In addition, the MailKeeper may be ordered with an optional street number
plaque personalized with up to 5 numbers. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks processing time for the
customized street number plaques.
Is a flag included with the MailKeeper?
Yes, the MailKeeper comes standard with an outgoing mail flag already installed on the unit.

What kind of materials can I use to enclose the MailKeeper?
The MailKeeper can be enclosed with brick, stone, cultured stone, block, rock, stucco, or any

sources including brick yards, local general contractors, masonry contractors, and homeimprovement
stores.
